The band Innocence Lost was created in 2007 by friends from the west zone of Rio de Janeiro, with the initial objective of doing serious and original Heavy Metal work. Keyboardist Aloysio Ventura already knew and had played with three of the other four members, except guitarist Juan Carlos Britto, who was close to vocalist Mari Torres. After a few conversations and initial arrangements, the band was already formed and composing. This initial formation remains to this day, and enables one of the band's hallmarks, which is the rapport on stage, which comes from years of experience. "I've been playing with Heron and Rodrigo since 2002, that's ten years, four with Innocence Lost alone" -- says Ventura. The band's sound is centered on modern heavy metal with main influences of progressive metal from bands such as Symphony X, Evergrey, Seventh Wonder and Adagio. Added to this we can see the personal influences of each component.
